RR, I agree, and think it's insane they are running till 1:30am. Between backup alarms, the Dozers and Trucks, it creates quite a bit of sound rattling through. I've thought about going over to talk with them...I'm sure it would do about as much good as nothing at all....

Ian posted this link to a thread on Nextdoor yesterday. Not sure if it would do anything but can't hurt.

Under "What is your Primary question or concern" you can select "Noise"

The night after I posted this, all after hours construction stopped . I have no idea why but I got my first good night's sleep in several nights. Nothing since then either. I don't know if someone complained or what but I'm so glad I don't have to listen to that racket.

Thanks Ian for posting the link. I'll hang on to it in case it starts up again.

It looks like they are starting to put the sound wall up, so hopefully that access road is the first thing that's going to get done.

Not holding my breath though.

I think the wall started last week. And they are going up and over RF at the curve. So what is now Riley Fuzzel at the curve will connect to the West bound feeder.

My husband went to the Grandparkway meeting (for county reps)yesterday. It was confirmed they will begin with the feeder roads completing one side at a time so that they will have uninterrupted lanes open for traffic. They expect to start work in 4-6 weeks. There was no talk about the wooded patch in the front. They do not plan on taking away the left turn until they begin the main toll lanes, and the u-turn is complete down at the bridge. The work on the feeder and overpass near birnham is set to start in the next 1-2 weeks. I think that comment was conservative as I have see work at that end already.

Hope this answers some questions!

I emailed ZOPD over a week ago asking about the patch. Finally got a reply today.

It would be great if the acquisition of property along Riley Fuzzel was a logical progression of legal access to begin construction. The reason there has not been activity on some parcels and then a full scope of activity on others is simply not having the finalized negotiation for the property.

Please let me know if you have any additional questions.

Thanks,
Linda

I think they are close to building the East bound feeder Road from the bridge toward our entrance.
